Created by Proprietor Glynn Williams as a tribute to his son Evan, GLYNNEVAN® celebrates the traditions that bring family and friends together. Every bottle is the culmination of a journey across our great nation – a new Canadian tradition where the spirit of prairie grain comes to rest in oak barrels in our distillery on the historic Guysborough harbour. A second barreling by the sea lends a distinct Maritime character to our small batch spirit, creating a uniquely Canadian rye whisky that is our toast to the ties that bind us together.

GLYNNEVAN® is a uniquely Canadian rye whisky, earning its character from a journey across our great nation. Here against the Atlantic Ocean, we second barrel the spirit of prairie grain to give GLYNNEVAN® a distinct Maritimes character, softening and adding depth and complexity to the whisky. GLYNNEVAN® opens with layers of aroma starting with sweet rye spices and honey, followed by toasted oak, vanilla, cinnamon and a hint of tropical fruit. The well-balanced taste is sweet and creamy offering vanilla, spice, hazelnut, butter, toffee and caramel sensations. A mahogany-colored whisky, at 43% alc./vol., it has a powerful, yet smooth mouthfeel, with a finish that is long and warm.
